Evelyn Caldwell, age 82, of Athens, died Wednesday May 23, 2007 at her residence.

Survived by: Husband – Harold Caldwell of Athens Three Daughters – Nancy (husband, Jerry) Abbott of Sherman -Ronda (husband Rich) Lahnum of Sherman – Sandra (husband John) Dunlap or Phoenix, Az. Six Grandchildren- Scott Abbott Jerad Abbott Ryan Lahnum Chad Lahnum Sara Revere Kyla Dunlap 8 Great-grandchildren- Aidan, Brendan, Carson, Anderson, Jacob, Grace Jadeyn, Gage One Brother : Delbert (wife Marilyn) Tobias of Athens Two Sisters : Lucille (husband Richard) Elliott of Greenview

Mrs. Caldwell was born September 21, 1924 near Greenview, the daughter of Tom and Rosella Weidhuner Tobias. She married Harold Caldwell on December 28, 1947 at Greenview in St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. She worked for the Athens High School District for 35 years as a school cafeteria manager. She was a member of Sherman United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed spending time with working in her flower garden and her family.

Visitation: Saturday, May 26, 2007 10:00- 11:00 AM with services following at 11:00 AM at Mott and Henning Funeral Home in Athens, IL
