Evelyn Buckles, age 83, of Pleasant Plains died Saturday, June 16, 2007 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

Survived by: Husband – Roy

Two Daughters : Donna (husband Harold) Walker of Springfield

Janet (husband Frank) Shafer of Springfield Two Sons : Gary L. Moore of New York Mick A. Moore of Springfield Five Grandchildren – John Cain, Derick Cheek, Jennifer LaFary, Jaime McLaughlin, Jason Cain Four Great Grandchildren Two Step Children : Larry Buckles & Bonnie Buckles both of Arizona

Mrs. Buckles was born in Springfield on December 26, 1923 the daughter of Harry and Vera Wahl Fishback.

She married Roy Buckles on September 6, 1990. .

She is preceded in death by her first husband John L. Moore.

Mrs. Buckles retired as a manager at the Hub Clothing in the boy’s department.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM. Funeral services following at 11:00 AM at Mott and Henning Funeral Home.
