  9. Connie, Lori, Loni and Rod, Carol Poppenhager of Astoria was kind enough to give me the sad news that Ron had passed. My heartfelt condolences go out to you. Ron was a good friend. Ron, Junior Brown and I were classmates at Astoria High, and had a good time playing basketball and football together. Ron also worked at my Dad’s evergreen nursery, but that didn’t last long because Ron didn’t much like digging in the dirt. i didn’t like it either, but my 260 pound Dad rolled me out of bed every Saturday morning whether we had a tough ball game Friday night or not. Anyway, those were some of the best experiences of my life, and Ron was an integral part of it.

  10. Sincere sympathies to Connie and family in your loss of husband, father and grandfather. I pray that during this difficult time you will feel the love and support from all your friends and family. And, more importantly, know that God is there with you as you grieve your loss.

You will always have the good memories of times shared which will bring you comfort as the days go by.

  11. Connie, Lori, Loni, and Rod: I am so sorry for your loss.
