Richard Behl age 73, of Athens, passed away on March 9, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center.

Mr. Behl was born on October 4, 1935 in Farmersville, IL the son of Andrew and Beulah Brown Behl.
He married Ruby Tolliver in Montebello, California and later moved to Illinois.
Preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Mary and Helen, and a brother, Howard.
Richard graduated from Carlinville High School in 1953 and later from Brown’s Business College.
He was a member of the Berlin Christian Church and the Divernon Masonic Lodge. He served in the US Army.
He worked as a computer operator for Bank of America in California, Sangamon County, Big A Auto Parts in Houston, TX, and Copley Computer totaling more than 35 years of service in the field.
Visitation: Thursday, March 12, 2009 from 5 to 7 PM at the Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens with Masonic Services being held there at 6:45 PM.
Services: Friday March 13 at 10 AM at the funeral home.
Officiating: Rev. Gloria Davis
Burial: Camp Butler National Cemetery
Memorials to Menard County Senior Transport.
