Marshall D. Baugher, age 72, of Springfield passed away on Wednesday March 4, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center.

Caryl Baugher of Greenview Angela (Jim) Hulett of Greenview Sister -Mary Pankey of Elkhart Step-Brother-Jerry Olson of Cantrall Step-Sister-Phyllis Hahn of Lincoln
8 Grandchildren 1 Great-Granddaughter Several Nieces & Nephews Joann- Wife of Marshall for 44 years
Marshall was born April 1, 1936 in Springfield, the son of Donald and Marie Miller Baugher.
He married Joann Litwiller on September 2, 1956.
Preceded in death by a grandson, Brandon Baugher in 1983, his parents Donald and Marie, a sister, Naomi and Step-Father, Russell.
He worked for the state of Illinois for 33 years and was a Die Hard Cubs fan his entire life.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Springfield
Visitation will be held at the Mott & Henning Funeral Home in Athens on Sunday, March 8, 2009 from 4 to 6 PM.
Services will be held at 10 AM Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Springfield.

Marshall was a joy to talk to and to know. He will be greatly missed by my husband, Bob and myself. We know he’s rejoicing in heaven with the Lord and take comfort in that.
