Barbara Mundhenke, age 88, of Cantrall, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the Carlinville Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on January 16, 1933 in West Frankfort, Illinois the daughter of Dewey and Flo (Cash) Wilson.
Barbara married John Mundhenke in 1952 and he preceded her death on October 11, 2002.
Mourning her passing are two sons, Jerry (Judy) Mundhenke and Kevin Mundhenke; one daughter, Lisa Frank; grandchildren, Daniel Mundhenke, Holly (Paul) Haggerty, Jonathan (Alana) Mundhenke, Tarah (Clint) Kesinger, Craig (Samantha) Frank, and Alexandria (Daniel) Theel; and great-grandchildren, Jameson Mundhenke, Francis Frank, Josephine Frank, William Frank, Sarah Theel, and Wyatt Theel.
Barbara enjoyed spending her time with her family and love baking cakes for the Springfield Fire Department.
Private family visitation and services will be held Tuesday January 4, 2022, from 9:00 until time of funeral service at 10:00 AM at Mott and Henning Funeral Home in Athens.
Private burial will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery will be held at 11:00 AM, in Springfield, IL following services.

So sorry to have heard about Aunt Barbara’s passing. She was a beautiful lady inside and out and am sure will be dearly missed. We are praying for family. May God bless you all.
