Rick, Karen & family,
So sorry for your loss. Uncle Al’s death is really a loss for our whole family. He was such a kind and thoughtful man. He always showed concern for anyone having health issues. Although I have many wonderful uncles in my family, he was by far my favorite Uncle. My mother loved talking about the great times she and Al had together as children. Of course, their close relationship lasted until my Mom died. We have a lot of pictures of your Mom & Dad with my parents and you, Denny, and me when we were young. Great memories of your family’s visits to see Grammy & Grandad Setzer many times over the years. Again, I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Al will be missed by his family & friends.

Another of the “greatest generation” has left us. Al Setzer was one of the finest gentlemen I have known. Al always had a kind word for everyone he met. I had the privilege of knowing Al and was honored to play golf with him. If you wanted to know how to swing a golf club, all you had to do is copy Al’s swing.
In our world we meet very few people with the gentelness and kindness displayed by Al Setzer. He will be greatly missed. I hope he is giving golf swing lessons in heaven.
